Korea

We made it to Korea. Jet lag is an understatement. So tired. Went with some other PCTs for REAL Korean food then found a Russian bar with Korean beer. Good times. Had my first mini-freak out (likely due to my lack of sleep) though: my converter/adapter only has 2 prongs, not 3, so it's pretty much worthless. About all that will work is my curling iron. *blah* As such, I am in conservation mode and will keep this short: I'm safe. I'm ready for Mongolia and ger camp tomorrow. And I don't know what the internet situation will be like at camp so until next time...

Update: bought an adapter so my laptop will at least work. At Incheon Int'l Airport waiting to board Mongolian Airlines. Here we go!

Staging

After a very long day of flights (and an agonizing goodbye), I made it to San Francisco for Staging. It was a day full of meeting the 65 other PCTs (Peace Corps Trainees) and getting all the deets on exactly what Peace Corps expects of us. Needless to say, it was exhausting. Tomorrow we fly to South Korea where we'll spend the night before continuing on to the real adventure. But for now, sleep. SLEEP! 'Til the next post...

Update: About to fly out of SFO to Korea. Had morning Mimosas with a few other PCTs. :)
